Gesucht: Girls! Tech UP-Role Model
Die (Elektro-)Technik-Branche braucht dringend Nachwuchs – und der darf gerne auch weiblich sein! Der OVE Österreichischer Verband für Elektrotechnik holt weibliche Vorbilder vor den Vorhang und vergibt im Rahmen der Nachwuchsinitiative Girls! Tech UP heuer erstmalig den Role Model-Award.
Weiblichen Lehrlingen und Expertinnen aus dem Gebiet der Elektrotechnik, Informationstechnik und Energiewirtschaft zu mehr Sichtbarkeit verhelfen und sie in ihrer Vorbildwirkung stärken – das ist das Ziel des Girls! Tech UP-Role Model-Awards. Selbst produzierte Kurz-Videos sollen Lust auf Technik machen. Gemeinsam wollen wir zeigen, dass Stereotype nicht unveränderlich und Technikjobs längst auch in weiblicher Hand sind. Schluss mit Klischees, denn auch Mädchen können Technik

Unternehmen nominieren Role Models
Jedes Unternehmen kann beliebig viele Role Models nominieren, sofern die Kriterien für die Einreichung erfüllt sind: Teilnehmen können weibliche Lehrlinge und Expertinnen, die einen technischen Beruf in der Elektrotechnik, Informationstechnik oder Energiewirtschaft ausüben. In einem maximal 90-sekündigen Video sollen ihre Begeisterung für Technik sowie ihre Freude am Beruf im Mittelpunkt stehen. Die Einreichfrist läuft ab sofort bis 10. Oktober 2021. Ab 15. Oktober 2021 – an diesem Tag findet der digitale Girls! Tech UP-Aktionstag statt – werden die eingereichten Videos auf der Website zu sehen sein. Das Girls! Tech UP-Role Model 2021 wird dann mittels Online-Voting ermittelt. Die Verleihung des Awards wird im Rahmen des OVE Innovation Day am 18. November 2021 stattfinden.
